Van Lanschot Bankiers, a major Dutch bank, selects riskpro™ for Asset Liability Management and Value at Risk

Zurich, March 28, 2007 –Van Lanschot Bankiers, a top 10 Dutch bank, has selected riskpro™ as a core tool for its risk management. The project focuses on Asset Liability Management and Value at Risk. riskpro™ will replace the Bank's existing portfolio of self-developed solutions. This is the first riskpro™ customer in the Netherlands and the fifth customer in the Benelux area. In addition, three foreign subsidiaries of major Dutch banking groups use riskpro™ in Switzerland, Greece and Poland.

Triggered by the growth of the bank and by increased regulatory demands, a software evaluation project was launched in 2006. The decision for riskpro™ was made at the beginning of 2007, and the contract was signed in March 2007. Implementation started immediately after contract signing.

We have seen that we can model quickly our most sophisticated products and generate essential internal and regulatory reports. The bank has the option to move quickly and in a cost effective way into new types of analyses, e.g. additional Value at Risk methodologies.”
